Opryland Hotel

So by November 15th, it’s Christmas at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville.
So. Much. Christmas.
Very impressive nativity scene. Figures are larger than life-size.

They dress up all their shops and cafe’s with Christmas names.
So they had a Parade of Trees fundraiser going on. Several stars donated trees to be raffled off, with other pretty nice prizes as well. This is the tree donated by Jordan Davis.

Covenant Presbyterian Church. We went to worship service here Sunday morning.

So we had lunch at Paula Deen’s. Plenty of country style food. Delicious!

The Tennessee State Capitol was completed in 1859.
Statue of Andrew Jackson on the grounds of the state capitol. Tennessee was home to three presidents – Jackson (7th), James K. Polk (11th) and Andrew Johnson (17th).
President James K. Polk and First Lady Sara Polk are buried on the grounds of the state capitol.
